Chapter 133

After leaving Kindre's workshop, Su-hyeok entered a cafe with Un-hyang and looked at his hand. At a glance, it didn't look much different from a bare hand. Only someone with exceptional eyesight would notice a faint blue glow if they looked for it hard enough.

'How did she craft this?'

From the power emanating from the glove and the item's description, there was no doubt that it had been made by using the Thunder Heart, but how did a stone turn into such a thin and smooth glove?

No wonder she was called the best item maker.

"You seem to like it." Un-hyang, sitting across from him, asked, "Her skills are amazing, right?"

"Yes, truly."

"I knew you'd be satisfied." She smiled but soon gave him an awkward expression. "Although I think she was even more satisfied."

In a way, just as the rumors said, Kindre was a madwoman. Unlike her reputation as a maker of magic swords, she was obsessed with handling materials and creating things in general.

In some ways, she was pure. For Kindre, working with rare and special materials was more valuable than anything in the world.

"That's good to hear."

"Are you going to start the trial right away?"

"Yes."

"Are you sure you don't need to try them out? You just received them, after all."

"There's no need." The moment he put the gloves on, he understood how to use them. No, he didn't even need to understand.

'It works the same way as Lightning.' It was something he was familiar with already.

"Really? Then…" Un-hyang took a sip of her freshly-brewed coffee and shifted the conversation to work. "This stream is going to be a trial, just like usual, right?"

"Yes, that's the plan."

"Then the content has been set. I'm sure you’ll handle it well…" She trailed off for a moment and then glanced at him. "Today's stream might be a bit noisy."

"It’s about time.” Su-hyeok responded.

"I haven't even told you why it's going to get noisy."

"Because of the guild offers, right?" Many guilds had been showing interest in him for quite some time. Among the big fish, there were even guilds as large as sharks or whales—Blue Zone was among them.

"It's about time for them to get nervous. After all, I'm growing faster than they expected." Something had changed—Su-hyeok's growth. When he went from the 3rd floor to the 4th and the 5th, people thought his rapid rise would stop somewhere.

After all, if you ran too fast, you risked tripping over a stone or hitting a wall, but as time passed, Su-hyeok's sprint showed no signs of stopping.

"They're probably also interested in the trial set in Asgard." From the 5th floor onward, a player's value varied greatly depending on the trial they were given.

Unlike up to the 4th floor, where everyone received the same trial, from the 5th one, the trials and rewards differed based on individual traits, and among them, trials that involved beings of divine races were rare.

Asgard was a place of great prestige, even among gods, so of course the setting attracted attention.

"The symbolism of the Lightning skill, my growth, and the trial related to Asgard… It would be strange if they weren't interested."

"So you knew it all already…?"

"If I don't know my own value, who will?"

"I thought you weren't interested in this kind of thing. The same goes for streaming."

"I just don't know much about the streaming world…" Su-hyeok knew his own value well. He just didn’t pay attention because he didn't need them, but he was sure there were many guilds who wanted him.

"The truth is…" Un-hyang showed him her kit’s screen, revealing a packed inbox with emails filling several pages. "This is the company's inbox. All of them are emails related to you."

"There are even emails from Blue Zone."

"They aren't the only ones. The Murim Alliance, Pantera, Chivalry… almost every major guild has tried to contact you."

Su-hyeok read one of the emails. They were offering a massive salary. "That's great." He nodded. "Please, keep blocking them all like this."

"You're going to reject them all, right?"

"Yes." It was a given. Su-hyeok smiled at the company's packed inbox. "That way, they'll keep making noise with donations."

John Tail gave his guest an uncomfortable look.

Across the long round table, Reinhardt leisurely drank his tea. Why had he gone all the way there?

"It's good tea."

"I'm glad you like it."

"It seems it’s from Murim. Certainly, Murim is better than Runeterra when it comes to tea." It was hard to tell if he was insulting or complimenting Murim.

Still, John sensed the malice in his words. Did he dislike Murim, or was he just in a bad mood? Feeling uncomfortable, he asked, "I'm sure you didn't come all the way here just for tea… What brings you here?"

Reinhardt was a well-known ranker. Although he sometimes streamed, he merely did it for entertainment purposes. What could someone like him want from Balhae Entertainment that he would go so far?

"There's someone I want to meet."

"Who…?"

"Streamer Lee Su-hyeok."

A chill ran down John's spine. For a moment, he felt a strange killing intent coming from Reinhardt.

"Where is he now?"

The man before him was the head of the Golden Castle, someone who overcame the nickname of ‘One-Hit Defeat and obtained the nickname of ‘Lion King’.

The pressure he exuded was overwhelming, but John had recently met someone even greater.

'Reinhardt's rank is much lower than Lee Won-jae’s.'

So why was it? The pressure he felt was much heavier.

'He must have a dangerous purpose…'

Although it was just intuition, he was sure the man hadn't visited for a trivial reason.

John gulped and then said, "Let me say something first."

"Go ahead."

"We sign contracts with streamers, take a commission, and generate profits. In return, Balhea Entertainment provides various conveniences and services."

A look of confusion appeared on Reindardt's face. John Tail's response didn't match the question. "So?"

"One of our roles is to protect our streamers."

The atmosphere changed. Reinhardt slowly closed his eyes. As if he had no intention of hiding his killing intent, the room filled with his Magic Power.

"Why…" Struggling to breathe, John Tail continued talking, "Are you trying to meet him?"

"My son died." The calm but shocking statement made John’s eyes widen. The death of a blood relative explained Reinhardt's demeanor, which was clearly crossing a line. "I suspect he might be the culprit."

"Streamer Lee Su-hyeok…?"

"I hope it's a misunderstanding." Reinhardt, his eyes like a beast, crushed the teacup in his hand with sheer strength. "If he's the one responsible, I can't let him go."

Once Reinhardt's anger erupted, there was no stopping him. After crushing the teacup and standing, he asked in a calm but menacing voice, "Tell me… Where is Streamer Lee Su-hyeok?"

John's mind went blank. He could understand the situation, but there was nothing he knew about the matter. Perhaps Su-hyeok was the culprit, but if that were the case, there had to be a reason.

'Even if there was a reason, would he understand?'

No. There was no way. There was probably no reason in the world that could make someone accept and move on from the death of their own flesh and blood. Reinhardt had set his mind on revenge, so there were only two ways to stop him…

He either took his revenge or was stopped by force.

"First… would you like to meet Streamer Lee Su-hyeok's manager?"

['Lee Su-hyeok' has started streaming.]

It was the first stream after the collaboration with Bbak. Standing in front of the trial portal, Su-hyeok waited for viewers to gather.

'I wonder how many will come.'

The stream had the perfect appeal, from the topic to the title.

[Title: Anyway, on my way to Asgard]

Asgard was the land of gods that had only been mentioned by name, with nothing else revealed. While trials involving beings that belong to divine races were rare, it was even rarer for players to openly go to the land of the gods.

Naturally, he received attention from both guilds and viewers.

- Suhi~

- Are you really going?

- Suhi~

- Let's go.

- Yo, Fake Su-hyeok.

Within seconds, viewers poured in; the chat scrolled too fast to read. Most were greetings, but some stood out, along with donations.

['Chivalry' has donated 10,000 points.]

[Hello, Streamer Lee Su-hyeok. This is the Chivalry Guild. Did you perhaps read the email we sent you…?]

['World Tree' has donated 20,000 points.]

[This is the World Tree Guild. Have you heard of us? If you're perhaps interested…]

['Celestial Empire' has donated 10,000 points…]

[…]

Sponsorships and messages from various guilds arrived. The amounts varied from a minimum of 10,000 points to 20,000, 30,000, and even 50,000 points.

- Wh-what's all this?

- Fake Su-hyeok's class.

- When did he grow so much?

- Well, he's been getting a lot of attention from guilds for a while now, hahaha.

After waiting for the donations to slow down, Su-hyeok turned on the stream and said, "There are a lot of people I need to thank today, but it seems that most are from guilds."

He read out the name of the guilds that had donated one by one. "Chivalry, World Tree, Celestial Empire… Thank you all for the donations."

Long or short, most of the messages were similar: ‘Why haven't you read the email?’

"I saw that you've sent a lot of emails." Just before he left, Un-hyang had shown him the emails. An overwhelming number of guilds had sent recruitment proposals, but he had no intention of reading them all.

After all, he had no plans of joining a guild.

"There were just too many to read. I also think it's still too early…" He couldn't let this opportunity go to waste. "But I guess I have no choice. You've even sent donations.”

Smiling behind the mask, Su-hyeok recalled all the emails that had arrived in the inbox.

"Then, before the next stream, I'll read the emails from those who have donated."

Basically, he was telling them that, if they wanted their emails to be read, they should donate first.
