Chapter 125
"Being a streamer is great. You saved up quite a lot." Jin-woon clicked his tongue in surprise at the number of points Su-hyeok had accumulated.
"I did earn quite a lot." On the floor, overlooking a spacious garden, Su-hyeok nodded as he sipped the tea Jin-woon had given him.
"Why didn't you wait to get the rest? You only need 300,000 more points."
Su-hyeok had given him 200,000 points in advance and initially had 800,000 left to pay off.
Jin-woon had decided to continue the procedures based on the points given, thus, only 300,000 points remained.
If Su-hyeok had just collected the remaining points, he wouldn't have needed to come multiple times.
"I'm in a hurry." Su-hyeok couldn't do that. Even if it was a bit bothersome, he needed to use the points as quickly as possible. "My next trial is right around the corner."
There was also the chance that Gret would contact him at any moment.
"Is it hard?" Su-hyeok asked.
"It's a bit of a hassle, but a bothersome customer is still a customer. Follow me." It seemed rather rude. If he'd asked Su-hyeok to gather the remaining points, he would have invested 320,000 points into 'Selfish Sacrifice'.
That wouldn't have been bad, but it would have taken another step away from completing the procedure.
'A procedure split into three sessions…'
Although it was a procedure worth a million points, splitting it up like that was probably quite annoying. Accepting without any further compensation was thanks to Jin-woon's positive view of him.
'Thank you, old man.'
Following Jin-woon, Su-hyeok sensed that the procedure would be quite long and hard. Even if it cost a lot of points, he couldn't give up on it.
Not only the Lightning skill but the Thunder Heart that he'd obtained would be hard to handle. Even Thor, one of the highest-ranking divine beings, couldn't handle a complete Thunder Heart.
"This procedure will take longer than before." Arriving at the workshop, Jin-woon first left a warning.
Swoosh—
He picked up the pointed procedural tool.
Su-hyeok took off his shirt.
"You mustn't fall asleep. You can't scream in pain. If you do so, the medicine for the procedure will entirely go to waste."
"Understood."
"That’s easy to say." Jin-woon shook his head while clicking his tongue. "Later, don't say you want to quit because it hurts."
"I won't." 500K points were a lot. No matter how much it hurt, he would endure. If it was about enduring pain, he was confident in himself.
"Let's start." Su-hyeok gritted his teeth.
The procedure started.

Three days passed with no news of Su-hyeok.
Un-hyang waited for him to return. Since she didn't have anything else to do, she thought of it as a vacation and checked the community to see the views of the uploaded videos.
"How suffocating." Cheong-ryang stood up from his seat first. "Why are you so quiet?"
"Me?"
"Yes. Who else is here besides you and me?"
As Cheong-ryang pressed her, Un-hyang nodded. "That's true."
"Don't just nod. Speak. What are you thinking about? You've been silent for days."
"I'm just sharpening it." Un-hyang looked at the thin longsword placed beside her seat.
"Sharpening…?" Cheong-ryang, puzzled by the comment, closed his mouth.
It had been three days since Mu-hui arrived. Since it wasn't the first time it had happened, he didn't take it too seriously. He just thought that, once again, they were trying to persuade Un-hyang.
However, that didn't seem to be the case.
'Is she preparing to fight?'
Since then, Un-hyang had been preparing to fight. She had been living as a manager in the streaming industry for a while, long having stopped her activities as a player.
Swords that went unused for a long time tended to rust, so Un-hyang silently honed and sharpened herself, preparing her blade.
She would likely have to use it soon.
"Is that so…?" Feigning indifference, Cheong-ryang stood up. "Then, keep sharpening. I'll go inside and take some sleep."
"Are you really not going to say it?"
"Huh??
"What they told you."
"It seems that he hasn't told you yet."
"If you don't come back—"
Un-hyang kept thinking about what that meant. If he didn't come back…
There was definitely some threat after that.
"It was nothing."
"If it was nothing, then why did you make such a fuss?"
"You know that old man's personality, right? He threatens and tries to scare you. You don't need to listen to him. It'll just ruin your mood for no reason." Cheong-ryang waved his hand dismissively. "Anyway, I'm going inside to sleep. You should also go to bed before it's too late."
Cheong-ryang entered his room, located at the end of the floor. Confirming the door was closed, he looked up at the sky. The moon shone brightly enough to obscure all the stars.
Meanwhile, Un-hyang looked back at the door of the lodging.
'I wonder who's going to come…'
It would be a relief if Su-hyeok returned. They could just go up right away if he did. It couldn’t be called safe up there, but it would be much better than being in the middle of Murim.
On the other hand, if Mu-hui opened that door and came in again…
Creak—
At that moment, the door slowly opened. She hadn’t locked it in the hopes that Su-hyeok would return.
An unpleasant face entered.
"This time it's you?" Un-hyang frowned.
"You would be so rude to your master? How insolent." A man with a lowered mask and a blue scabbard on his side, a long scar on one eye, gave Un-hyang an indifferent look.
"Master? How long has it been since I left that place? Just Uncle Unyeop is enough for you."
"Just like a teacher is forever a teacher, our relationship isn't one that can be severed," the man explained. "Hyang, let's go back. Everyone's waiting for you." Un-hyang's master, Ja Unyeop, the Thunder Sword, extended his hands toward her.
"Who cares about whether they're waiting for me or not?"
Swoosh—
The knife she'd been sharpening revealed its blade. Un-hyang's eyes narrowed thinly and chilled the surrounding air.
Among the men who had followed Ja Unyeop, some breathed heavily behind their masks.
When Un-hyang raised her energy, they struggled to even breathe.
"It's saddening to hear you talk like that." Only Ja Unyeop showed no signs of wavering, giving her a bitter look instead. "I guess I'll have to use force."
"Who said I'd let you drag me away?"
"I know you're a genius. Hyang, there's something you must understand. Among the people standing in Murim's sky, there's no one who wasn't called a genius in their youth."
Bzz—
"I was the same." Unyeop reached for his scabbard, and blue lightning burst out.
Ja Unyeop was the lord of the Shinryeong Castle, someone who used to compete with Un CheonGuk to become the lord of that castle.
On top of being the lord, he was a leader amongst players and a high ranker.
'This time, they're serious.' Un-hyang frowned. She knew they would come looking for her again. That's why she'd prepared herself to fight and was ready to swing her blade after so much time.
Ja Unyeop wasn't an easy opponent.
"I have no intention of talking much with you." Still, it wasn't a fight that she could avoid. "Let's start quickly. That way, it's better for you too, right?"
"Wait a minute." Just as Un-hyang stood up and reached for her knife, Ja Unyeop stopped her. "This place is too noisy, and there are too many people around. How about we move to a quieter place?"
'Are you joking?" Un-hyang asked in annoyance. "Why should I do that? Why should I hide due to your people's shortcomings?"
"You'll have to."
"Don't say nonsense—" Un-hyang turned her head. Although there was quite some chaos going around, Cheong-ryang was too quiet. The moment she thought that, she felt a small presence in his room.
"I was going to tell you, but it seems like you noticed first."
"You people are seriously-!"
"I'm sorry for having done such a petty thing."
Although she received an apology, she didn't feel much better at all. Whether that apology was sincere or not, it didn't matter.
Paf—
Clank—
Un-hyang grabbed her sword and headed toward the room as if flying, opening the door to where Cheong-ryang was sleeping.
"Cheong-ryang, are you…?" Un-hyang suddenly quieted.
A man pointed a knife at Cheong-ryang's neck.
Step—
"That guy came to Shinryeon Castle in your place." Unyeop approached her from behind and looked at Cheon-ryang, whose body had stiffened. "He's your closest friend, right?"
"You bastards…" Un-hyang ground her teeth.
Crunch—
Ja Unyeop had entered through the main door so he could use his presence to mask the others intruding into Cheong-ryang’s room.
Although the intruder's stealth was excellent, if he'd entered by himself and targeted Cheong-ryang, she would have noticed.
"I won't ask you to go back to the castle. Let's just move to a quieter place."
"You know this is pathetic."
"Of course." Unyeop nodded. "If 'we' lose, we'll withdraw cleanly."
Paf, paaf—
Countless martial artists appeared throughout the lodging's garden.
"You've grown more pathetic."
"I'll make sure to repay you."
"Today will be the last." Un-hyang turned around.
Whish—
"Today, you will die by my hands." As she slowly walked out of the room, she glanced back at Unyeop.
Unyeop shuddered for a moment as he looked into her eyes.
'Genius…' There were many people who'd been called geniuses, but none could put that title before their name.
Only one person used the word 'genius' in front of their name as if it were part of it: Un-hyang, the one standing before him.
Shinryeon Castle wanted her because of her talents.
'I'm glad I came in person.' If he'd sent his disciples, such as Mu-hui, they would have been wiped out.
Swoosh—
As she walked, the surrounding martial artists stepped aside.
To the martial artists of Shinryeon Castle, a player like Un-hyang was a living legend and their idol.
Although they met in such a way, she deserved respect and to be treated well.
"Let him go," Unyeop said.
The man holding Cheong-ryang's neck released him.
Thud—
Cheong-ryang collapsed to the floor. At the same time, his stiffened head slowly raised with great difficulty.
"No…"
Flinch—
Un-hyang stopped for a moment, but that didn't mean she could turn back.
"Sleep for a moment." Without turning her head, she began walking again. "I'll be back before the next stream."
